Because of your efforts, our school receives valuable funding that helps enrich every student’s learning experience. These funds allow us to enhance field trips, participate in programs like FitSet Ninja, and purchase technology, musical instruments, and physical education equipment that benefit all learners.

We are truly grateful for your partnership and dedication to our school community.

Before School – No Supervision

For student safety, the playgrounds are closed before school as there is no supervision at that time. Our staff are focused on welcoming students through soft start, bussing, and Hug N’ Go. We kindly ask that students not be dropped off before the bell at 8:42 a.m., when supervision begins.

Mme. Gen - Thursday, November 27 (day and evening) and Friday, November 28 (day)

Mme. Durga – Thursday, November 27 (afternoon and evening) and Friday, November 28 (day)

All Other Teachers – Thursday, November 27 (evening) and Friday, November 28 (day)

What are Student Learning Conferences?

Student Learning Conferences provide time and space for families to have meaningful conversations with teachers about how their child is progressing in relation to the intended learning goals. During these conferences, teachers share evidence of your child’s learning — such as assessed work, reflections, and examples of achievement — to highlight strengths and next steps for continued growth.

Please watch your emails for notification of when the conference manager opens so you can book your conference with your child's teacher.

School Council – Upcoming Meeting – November 19

Parents are invited and encouraged to attend HVS Council and Friends of HVS Society meetings in person or virtually (Zoom). The next meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, November 19 at 6:30 pm. Picture Day Update!

We have an exciting change to share with families — our Picture Day has been rescheduled! Individual photos will now take place on Thursday, November 20, with retakes on Wednesday, December 10.
